Not only have I ignored this blog something terrible over the last month, I’ve also not put anything of a personal nature on it recently; it’s been all business oriented.

However, my friend Barb visited me recently here. We had a blast, and took a short road trip to Santa Fe to see the Georgia O’Keefe museum (close-up paintings of flowers? I’m so all over it). We also went to too many bead stores and stumbled across a gallery specializing in some absolutely fantastic photography (Annie Leibowitz, Ansel Adams, more)

We took a longer road trip through southeastern Colorado to Mesa Verde, and I could talk about this all day, or just show you some photos she took…

On the way home, we crossed back over into New Mexico, came over a mountain, and found… SNOW!
