I know, we’re right in the middle of winter, but what is better than to look towards warmer days, and start designing for the spring?  Traditionally, the winter colors belong to the year beforehand and the new fashion year begins with Spring.  So… as you might recall from my earlier post, the Pantone Institute Color of the Year for 2015 is Marsala, a lovely soft wine red.

Spring colors traditionally also soften the color of the year down with Pastels.  Below, I think they’ve also softened Marsala down a bit.  I’ll probably stay away from the pink “Strawberry Ice,” but I love Marsala with the Gray and Almond colors…  I can’t wait to see the pairings you come up with!
